Bring your gold or your riyals
Visit any Gulf Exchange branch during opening hours. No appointment and no prior registration.
We weigh and assess
Our staff verify karat and weight in front of you, and quote against the published rate for that day.
Agree the price
You see the calculation before anything is settled. If you are not happy, you walk away.
Settle at the counter
Payment or handover is completed immediately, with a receipt for the transaction.
Selling gold to Gulf Exchange
Customers intending to sell gold must present the original purchase invoice. In the absence of this document, a police report must be obtained and submitted to Gulf Exchange.
Gold sold will be purchased at the prevailing market rate. In the event of any return or cancellation, whether on the same day or later, the transaction will be settled based on the market rate in effect at the time of return or cancellation.

What karats do you deal in?
Gulf Exchange buys and sells 24K, 22K, 21K and 18K gold. Prices for each are published daily on this page.
How is the price calculated?
The price is the published rate for that karat, multiplied by the verified weight in grams. The calculation is shown to you before the transaction is completed.
Do I need an appointment?
No. Gold buying and selling is handled at the counter during normal branch opening hours. You can check live opening status on the branch locator.
What identification do I need?
Please bring your Qatar ID or passport. As a regulated financial institution, Gulf Exchange is required to verify identity for transactions in line with Qatar Central Bank and AML/CFT requirements.
How often do prices change?
Gold prices are reviewed and published each business day. The timestamp beside the rate table shows when the current prices were last updated.
